A significant new addition to the Holiday Lights Festival is the campaign to “Shine the Light on Hunger.” The rink provides a major new, family-friendly attraction to the Holiday Lights Festival while mobilizing the community in an effort to give back to those in need.

As presenting sponsor of the Holiday Lights Festival, ConAgra Foods will construct a temporary 50-foot by 140-foot ice-skating rink on its campus. The public is encouraged to bring donations of non-perishable food items and household goods to drop into collection bins, which will be distributed to families in need by The Food Bank. All proceeds from the skating rink will also be donated to The Food Bank.

The rink will be open Saturday, December 1 - Sunday December 16. Hours are 10 am - 10 pm, Sunday through Thursday and 10 am - Midnight, Friday and Saturday. Admission is $5 and includes skate rental.
