First National Bank Fireworks

New Year's Eve
7 pm
Prime viewing at the Gene Leahy Mall
14th and Farnam Streets

On Monday, December 31, the Holiday Lights Festival will present the First National Bank Fireworks at 7 p.m. The official viewing site for this year’s display is the Gene Leahy Mall at 14th and Farnam Streets. The public is encouraged to arrive early at the event which is expected to draw more than 30,000 people.

In honor of First National Bank's 150th anniversary of service to the Omaha community, the show will feature a second surprise downtown launch site and an astounding display of fireworks produced by J&M Displays. Each firework is choreographed to explode in sequence to a musical score that includes favorite party songs spanning the last four decades. Spectators are encouraged to bring radios and tune in to Lite 101.9 KLTQ so they may hear the accompanying music while viewing this spectacular show.
